1. Acceptance of Terms & EULA

By creating an account, registering, or utilizing MeFolio ("Platform", "we", "us"), you ("User", "you") explicitly agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree to all terms, conditions, and disclaimers herein, you are strictly prohibited from utilizing the Platform.

2. "Beta" & Active Development Disclaimer (At Your Own Risk)

IMPORTANT: You acknowledge and agree that MeFolio is currently in Active Development (Beta). The Platform is provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all liability for data loss, system errors, service interruptions, or temporary platform unavailability.

You are solely responsible for keeping independent backups of all portfolio content, images, texts, and project details submitted. Under no circumstances shall MeFolio or its operators be liable for any professional, financial, or reputational damages resulting from platform downtime or database failures.

3. Verification Disclaimer & Right to Revoke

MeFolio offers automated and manual project verification mechanisms ("project_proofs"). You represent and warrant that all uploaded content and verification materials are accurate, legally obtained, and do not violate third-party IP or confidentiality agreements.

We reserve the absolute, unilateral right to suspend, downgrade, or **revoke the verified status** of any project or profile at any time, without prior notice or liability, for suspected fraudulent behavior, plagiarism, spam, or technical verification expiration. The revocation of verification does not entitle the User to any financial compensation, refunds, or claims of reputational damage.

4. Subscription & Stripe Billing Terms (No Refunds)

Premium services are billed on a recurring subscription basis managed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize automated recurring charges. You may cancel your subscription at any time within your dashboard billing panel.

No Refunds Policy: Except as explicitly required by local consumer protection laws, all payments, setup fees, and premium subscription charges are strictly **non-refundable**.

5. No Professional or Recruiter Outcome Guarantees

MeFolio provides technical reputation infrastructure. We do not act as an employer, recruiter, or agency. We make **no guarantees** regarding recruiter response rates, contract matches, interview scheduling, salary proposals, or successful employment outcomes. All hiring discussions and hiring agreements remain strictly between the User and the respective company.

6. Class Action Waiver & Binding Arbitration

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: YOU AND MEFOLIO EXPLICITLY AGREE TO WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO RESOLVE DISPUTES THROUGH CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS. ANY CLAIMS, CONFLICTS, OR DISPUTES ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL BE RESOLVED EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH BINDING, INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES OF THE ARBITRATOR, AND WILL BE CONDUCTED IN THE JURISDICTION OF MEFOLIO'S CHOSEN LEGAL RESIDENCY.

7. Severe Limitation of Liability (Financial Cap)

IN NO EVENT SHALL MEFOLIO, ITS OPERATORS, OR ASSOCIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING PÉRDIDA DE GANANCIAS, DATA LOSS, OR LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY).

THE TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY OF MEFOLIO ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL BE STRICTLY **CAPPED AT THE LESSER OF**: (A) THE TOTAL FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO MEFOLIO DURING THE PRECEDING TWELVE (12) MONTHS, OR (B) **$50.00 USD (FIFTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS)**.
