MeFolio

Verification Policy

Standards for Professional Identity Proofing

1. Verification Objective

MeFolio's Proof Verification System is established to build trust between software creators and technical hiring teams. By auditing code repositories, live production endpoints, and contribution evidence, we grant verified badges to authentic professionals.

2. Right of Revocation

Verification badges and Trust Scores are living metrics. MeFolio reserves the absolute right to re-audit, suspend, or revoke verified status at any time if new evidence suggests project misrepresentation, expired repositories, or non-functional live deployments.

3. No Employment Guarantee

A MeFolio Verified Badge confirms that our audit team verified specific project artifacts and identity proof at the time of review. It does not constitute a formal endorsement of technical skill, nor does it guarantee job interviews, hiring offers, or contractual agreements.

4. Fraud Consequences

If an account is flagged and confirmed for fraudulent proof submission (e.g. submitting stolen GitHub repositories, forged contracts, or impersonating another developer), the account will be permanently banned across the entire MeFolio network, and verified status will be permanently erased.

5. Review Process

All submitted project proofs undergo manual and automated review by our expert audit team. Submissions are reviewed in the order received, and decisions (Approved, Rejected, or Flagged for Review) are recorded with reviewer notes accessible in your dashboard.
